Despite a little reduction， this is very intense， offering darker fruit than the regular Gevrey Village. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent red fruit on the entry laced with blood orange， fine tannins and a compact but quite sustained finish. A hint of fresh fig appears on the aftertaste.
